I am a professional artist, designer, and illustrator who has weathered many ups and downs during my career. I've learned so much along the way ... often the hard way. My hope for this blog is that it will provide easy-to-understand articles that will help people who are in the process of learning similar lessons to the ones I learned myself. They will be little nuggets of insight into the life and career of an artist, designer, illustrator, art historian, and maker.
